Assumption of Risk

Work in live events may involve elevated structures, heavy equipment, electrical systems, moving machinery, forklifts, rigging environments, overhead hazards, and physically demanding conditions. By using this website or acting on its training materials, you acknowledge these hazards and voluntarily assume the risk of injury, death, or property damage that may result, including risk arising from The Crew Blueprint’s own ordinary negligence in preparing, presenting, or providing this content. You are responsible for assessing risk, following proper supervision, and refusing unsafe work outside your level of training or authorization.

Release and Waiver of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and forever discharge The Crew Blueprint, Deadhang Labor LLC, and their owners, employees, contributors, contractors, and associated entities from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from ordinary negligence in the preparation, presentation, or provision of the website’s training content, whether that negligence is active or passive.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, and it does not waive any right that applicable law does not allow a party to waive by agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Crew Blueprint, Deadhang Labor LLC, and their owners, contributors, contractors, and associated entities shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website, reliance on its content, or participation in any activity discussed within the training materials.

Except for the liabilities excluded from this cap below, their total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to the website, its materials, or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) US $100 or (b) the total fees you actually paid to Deadhang Labor LLC for the website service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to liability. This cap applies in the aggregate, regardless of the legal theory asserted or number of claims.

Nothing in this statement limits liability for gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, or for any liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited. If any limitation in this statement is found unenforceable as written, it will be reduced or reformed to the narrowest limitation that applicable law permits rather than eliminated entirely.

Users are responsible for verifying information, complying with employer rules, following local laws and regulations, using proper protective equipment, and obtaining hands-on authorization before performing specialized or hazardous tasks.

Governing Law and Venue

This statement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Unless a separate arbitration agreement applies, any dispute arising from this statement or your use of the website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Updates to This Statement

This Assumption of Risk, Release, and Limitation of Liability statement may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, or site changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date, and changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. When a material change affects terms previously accepted through the course-entry acknowledgment, the acknowledgment version will change and the website will require a fresh affirmative acceptance before further course access.
